MOD Desc
Adds new stockpile zones which are already filtered for storing Meals, Meat, Vegetables, Medicine, Joy, Animals, etc. Storage creation is a breeze!

Zones Added: Meal: A zone for rottable meals
Medicine: A zone for anything in the medicine category
Meat: A zone for meats other than human and insect
Veg: A zone for rottable fruits, vegetables and edible seeds
Joy: A zone for ingestibles that give joy when consumed. Includes drugs
Animal: A zone for fresh animal corpses. Doesn’t include insect or rotting corpses
Outdoor: A zone for Items and Raw Resources that will not deteriorate outside
Indoor: A zone for anything that deteriorates outside

Save Compatability This mod can be added to existing saves.
Always back up your saves before adding new mods as there is always the possibility for issues.

Mod Compatability !!! Industrial Rollers: These zones are not recognized by Industrial Rollers and won’t work. Zones are still usable for normal hauling.
No known issues yet, please report any issues

  • Cupro this is my mod 😀 … I saw in your git project that there is a commit to base your subzones on the vanilla Zone_Stockpile class.   • Yep, they act like the regular stockpiles. The only difference is that they are filtered differently when you first place them – similar to how dumping stockpiles work. The filters should work for almost all modded items as well
  • It is time that I must unfortunately announce the retirement of my mods. I simply don’t have the time to dedicate to the mods anymore, and I won’t be getting any extra free time in the foreseeable future. It has been a blast making mods for this game, and I really wish I could keep doing it. I hope everyone continues to enjoy this amazing game for a long time to come! I know I have 🙂
  • Quick question about a mod idea, is it possible to make a zone where your colonists need to wear certain items to be able to go there? For example using Rimatomics mod atm and it would be good if they put on their radiation suits for when they go outside and take them off once there inside, automatically. Is this possible to do?
  • Once I get the time to do so, I’m going to try to redo this mod to only have a single zone, which will have a tab letting you choose what is stored in it. Similar to how zones currently let you filter them, but instead of individual things, the options would be filters. ‘All rottables’ will definitely be one of those options
  • The only mod I know this conflicts with is (Industrial Rollers?), since that mod looks for vanilla stockpile zones only, unless it has changed. Other than that it may conflict if you have any mods that change the way stockpiles work or possibly overrides the colonist hauling behavior, but I don’t see any reason for either of those mods to exist since the vanilla mechanics handle stockpiles quite nicely. Are you getting any errors showing up?
