Oh wow, this is beautiful . GeneticRim is worth having again! It irritates me so much to see ugly white borders on peoples’ textures, MS-Paint based textures where people didn’t even bother to do more than use the pencil and bucket tools, etc….Would it be possible to get in touch with you guys to find out the basics of how to avoid such ugliness in my own textures? I plan to get into modding it soon, but the last thing I want is for my graphics to not fit in with vanilla. Any tips you could give would be greatly appreciated!Either way, thank you so much for your ongoing work on the RimWorld workshop. The Vanilla Expanded mod series includes most of my favorite mods. Keep up the good work and please don’t overwork yourselves!
So as a long time fan of genetic rim, trying this one out.I got a manhunter pack of wolfbeavers and i cannot ever recall, in probably years of using GR, ever having a manhunter pack of hybrids. Neat! Also they look pretty cool now. However, when the wolfbeavers died, the ones that instantly rotted due to the new Scaria infection instantly disappeared. Like, I can still click on them and everything, but the rotten corpse has no graphic. I dunno if this is unique to wolfbeavers or a problem with all of the animals, but it happened to me with wolfbeavers.
First of all, I can’t play GR without this texture patch anymore, so thank you for that. It makes it much more palatable for me.Anyway, I wasn’t certain where to report this, as I don’t know if it’s a bug isolated to this patch or the baseline mod. With the addition of scaria, animals can rot upon death, and I’ve noticed that wolfbeaver manhunter packs have a graphical issue with their corpses. Fresh corpses are visible normally, but once a corpse becomes rotted, it turns invisible. I’m not sure if this also applies to other animals or not, as I haven’t seen them rot before, but it’s consistently happened across multiple saves from wolfbeaver packs.I’m not sure if this is just an issue on my end, or if it’s known, or something else, but I wanted to post it here to make sure you knew!
