Hey everyone, I have noticed that you can also use prisoners to make a battery. Not only colonists. If you want to use a prisoner, wound them and throw them in. I don’t think it makes sense that a person would enter a battery willingly. Being inside a living battery is very scary (presumably because it hurts a lot). Prisoners would not want to be made into a battery. So therefore it makes sense that you have to force them to go there. You need to knock a prisoner unconcious first.
It is common sense. Think about it. If you are healthy, would you want to be a battery?

You need to incapacitate a prisoner before putting them inside a battery. I made it this way because nobody in their right mind would willingly enter a battery. Particularly not when they are already a prisoner against their will.

This is a good idea, but yeah, having it as early research would effectively break the game progression. I imagine it wouldn’t take much research to tweak cryosleep pods to do this but there should be drawbacks. So it should def be after cryosleep and maybe a few other research walls.As for how the bodies would work, maybe have it so their bodies age/degrade over time (but not super quickly or it’s no fun), and also maybe an electrical short causes them to be injured or something. There should also be power penalties for injured battery people.Sorry if that’s all a bit much at once. I just really like the idea for an ‘evil’ colony.
