Gives the camera tracking capabilities.

Press the ‘Home’ key (default, can be changed with in-game keybinding settings) while any colonist, enemy, animal or item is selected, and the camera will follow them (including furniture and plants – but they tend to not move much). Alternatively, you can click with the middle mouse button on colonists in the Colonist Bar on top of the screen to toggle following.

Does not require a new save game
Can safely be enabled/disabled in ongoing saves.

This is version 4.8.94, for RimWorld 1.2.2719.

I’ve just put an initial A18 version up on GitHub, use the link in the description to go to the releases page, then install manually according to the descriptions here [].Once A18 is properly released, I will update the steam version of all my mods to A18. I will not keep legacy versions around, as I would have to waste time supporting multiple versions – time I’d rather spend making my existing mods better and creating new mods.If you want to keep playing A17 with my mods after A18 is released, you’ll have to make local backups of your steam mods. ModSwitch * can help you make that process easier.*This is not my mod, nor can I vouch for its effectiveness. I’m simply going from what the description says.

I’ve been using this (and many other of Fluffy’s mods) for a very long time, and I intend to keep using it once A18 is properly released. My biggest gripe with this mod, however, is with the screen edge detection toggling follow mode off whenever I try to use a menu button at the bottom of the screen and move the mouse more than halfway over one of those buttons. Or I’ll tab out of the game to do something in a browser, and move my mouse to the edge of the page to hear that follow has toggled itself off. It makes the whole thing feel annoyingly delicate, honestly. I’m a little bit surprised that I seem to be the only one with this issue, but after a quick scroll through the comments and a check in the mod options I’m not seeing a way around it. I would really appreciate an option for toggling the edge detection off in general, but it isn’t going to stop me from using it in A18. Regardless of anything, thank you so much for all your hard work and in keeping these mods up to date.

1.1 made some dramatic changes that affect mod compatibility, notably an upgrade to a recent version of unity, and moving from .NET 3.5 (C# 3.0) to .NET 4.7.2 (C# 7.0). At the very least, this means all my mods will have to be recompiled, and in many cases, I will also need to make some more meaningful changes. 1.0 VERSIONS OF MY MODS WILL NOT WORK ON 1.1 so please don’t even try So when will you update your mods? I will be updating my mods over the coming week. New (pre) releases will be released on GitHub []. Will 1.0/1.1 versions be on steam? I will try to keep my mods on steam in sync with the current stable release. I do not want to maintain separate versions of my mods on steam, so I will not create new 1.1 entries for my mods, or leave 1.0 entries for old mods. Anyone who wants to be ahead or behind the curve can download my mods from GitHub [].
