This mod provides an additional way to fortify your Frontline with new bunker structures:

General:

– This should be fully compatible with [1.0] savegames
– You need to do research in order to get these structures.
– The bunkerroof is not a real roof as of terms of game mechanics, you still will have to build a room like in vanilla

Structures:

Bunker wall:
Slope walls are the foundation of your bunker. Needs A LOT of resources to build but can withstand even the hardest bombardement. Bombs harm it more than ordinary bullets. Takes a lot of time to be set up.

Bunker embrasure:
Waist high walls grant your pawns a spot to use their own arms in combat and also provides some cover (70%) . Also in contrast to the ordinary sanbags, enemys can’t climp over these structures. Bombs harm it more than ordinary bullets. Takes a lot of time to be set up.

Bunker door:
A heavy door granting passage inside the bunker. It can only be opened manually. Holds of fire for a long time, but costs a lot of resources. Bombs harm it more than ordinary bullets. Takes a lot of time to be set up.

Bunkerroof:
A semi transparent roofing. Comes in the sizes 5×5 and 3×3. [notification: More sizes MIGHT come on demand, maybe start a discussion here.] Does not hold a roof by itself, it needs surroundings. Takes a lot of time to be set up.

Machine Guns:

MG 08/15:
A build in ‘Light’-Machine-Gun from the great war. Stats:
– Range: 30
– Damage: 8
– Accuracy: long 60 – medium 70 – short 80 – touch 30
– Shots fired in one burst: 12
– Rate of fire: 0.15 sec per shot
– Reload time: 4 secs (aka cooldown)
– Magazine size: 60 rounds

MG 34:
A build in ‘Medium’-Machine-Gun. Stats:
– Range: 30
– Damage: 10
– Accuracy: long 60 – medium 70 – short 80 – touch 30
– Shots fired in one burst: 12
– Rate of fire: 0.083 sec per shot
– Reload time: 4 secs (aka cooldown)
– Magazine size: 60 rounds

MG 42:
A build in ‘Heavy’-Machine-Gun. Stats:
– Range: 30
– Damage: 10
– Accuracy: long 50 – medium 65 – short 80 – touch 30
– Shots fired in one burst: 18
– Rate of fire: 0.03 sec per shot
– Reload time: 2 secs (aka cooldown)
– Magazine size: 90 rounds

  • CE-Version out now!I know this issue but can’t find any solution because of two problems: First: Maybe a Rimmu-Nation bug not a frontline bug, but i don’t really believe in that, because they should not really interact at all. Second: It seems to be a hardcoded vanilla bug.Swallow: You can’t bouild floors under already build up walls either. Sorry.I thought about that, but it would be way to uber. Maybe i will find a way to make you really pay for every AT gun inside a bunker. We will see.
  • So does anyone else have issues with temperatures in the bunkers? I’ve got a series of bunkers with heaters in them and none of them are warming up at all, they’re just the same temperature of the outside area, which is an issue when colder times roll around. They are counted as inside and they have roofs, so I am not sure what I am supposed to do to up the temperature inside.Right now I’ve got heaters set to 60C and the temp inside is still sitting at below 0, while I sit on a massive system of batteries.
  • Yep, I know, but this is a vanilla thing. (Like changing barrels of vanilla turrets) Only way to fix that would be completely code new turret types.No you should be able to throw grenades, as the embrasures are nothing different than samdbags with other stats. I will sear h the bug when im back home.The textures of the guns got a standard orientation by vanilla, here it is north. After first use the texture should be aligned corretly.

Hih, i turned them down, at least i thought. Och recorded the game and crosschevked the volume im comparison to a assault rifle. Maube I uploaded an old xml, I WiLL TURN DOWN THE VOLUME I PROMISE. So let’s do it!North/East means North and East side of the Wall/embrasure! You got all options.Sorry, probably not.Thank you for your feedback!Every Gun has it’s own ammo. So it’s just a visual thing.Turtle: Pawns shall do it automatically (or by command) when UNDRAFTED. Sorry, atm it’s the only way for multiple-shot ammo. Maybe I will pause de development of my newest mod and first make a patch for the Frontline collection.
